Word Art Wednesday #173

First post for March, been a little in active in my craft room, life happens.

I needed to make a birthday card for my cousins little girl, my girls are going to her party tomorrow and I have been eager to use the Paper Trey ink stamp called Ballerina Beauty. and to also emboss in gold and watercolor, I have seen Kristina Werner do this many times.

Over at Word Art Wednesday they have challenges every Wednesday and they are always anything goes.

 So here I used Versa Mark ink and stamped the Ballerina from PTI and embossed in Recollections Clear Gold powder.

I am using Water Color paper from Hobby Lobby.

 I used a Paper Studio embossing folder and more water color paper.

The paper is sized 4X5 1/4.

Using Tombow Mono Multi Glue to adhere the embossed paper and added some silk ribbon before adhering it and taped it on the front with washi tape.

I added some foam to the back of my pink panel sized at 2 3/4 X 4 1/4.

 Here I am using Watercolor Pencils from Recollections.

I am coloring directly on the paper, some areas I color heavier and some i color lighter.

 I spray some water on an acrylic block and use a paintbrush.

My card base is Pretty in Pink by Stampin Up.

 Here is how it looks as I am going along coloring and adding water.

Finished, I added a bow.

Close up, there are only 13 pencils in this set so I used the lightes pink for skin and the pink for the outfit and some yellow and brown for the hair.

I added another stamp image using Stampin UP Pink Pirouette. The inside was stamped with Hero Arts India Ink Black.
