Easy Fall Card

Here is a quick and easy fall card using a few techniques.

I used this Leaf embossing folder from the Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby brand).

I used Naturals Ivory Card stock (from Stampin Up).
A stamp set that I believe came from Micheal's.
Always Artichoke, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip, and Cajun Craze ink (from Stampin Up), sorry to say that More Mustard has been Retired but I believe you can still get it on Ebay.
All the images lined up and ready to be colored.
Squeeze the lid and stamp pad together to get some ink on the lid and use your favorite water brush.
First I used More Mustard to Color the pumpkin.
The Always Artichoke to color the leaves.
And Finlay Cajun Craze to color those little flowers.
A circle sponge that I cut into wedges and inked the edges of the paper. Start off the paper in a smooth circular motion and go into the paper. I did 3 in More Mustard and 3 in Cajun Craze.

I also sponged the edges of the pumpkin squares.
I used ATG tape on the yellowish paper and this is how I line up my paper.  Line up the bottom edges and just fold together.

Snowman Button Christmas tag.

Yikes, time to start thinking about Christmas stuff.

I created these quick Christmas tags using some buttons from my stash and some clearance ribbon from Hobby Lobby that I got last Christmas. I also used my trusty Stampin Up ink and writer marker in Chocolate Chip.  The stamp set how ever I don't remember where I purchased or from what company. I cut the tags from a Cricut Cartridge Winter Woodland.

I started by creating fau stitching along the outside of the tag, I did both sides.
Close up of stitching.

I used about 4 inches of the polka dot satin ribbon.  I put sticky strip on the left side, 2 pieces, about 1 inch long.
Fold over your buttons which I bought from Walmart I believe in a big bag of just white buttons. Then add about another 1 inch strip of sticky strip slightly diagonal.  Using your pokey tool to help remove the red backing is an awesome tip.  Fold that strip down to make his scarf, cut at a diagonal to make pretty.
Flip over snowman.

Using 4 glue dots, place one on top of head one on scarf, and two on the bottom, on each side of the button holes.
One more glue dot right under the scarf to hold it down.
Optional glue dot to secure the top ribbon.
CLOSE UP.

Back Pack Tag

The Stamp set I used.
I used from the Brights Collection by Stampin Up, Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise, Regal Rose, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, and Rich Razzleberry.
I wont give you the deimensions of the paper but I suggest that when you take out the originoal tags in your luggage tag holder that you reduce the size by 1/8 of an inch. It made mine slide back in much easier then it came out.

I pulled this piece of paper out of my scraps bin.
I let my daughter Alexis choose the color arrangment.

Inside the Luggage tag holder.

Awsome back side of the holder.
The luggage Tag holder I got from Target, it was 3.99.

Project Life Pre School Addition Week #2

Here are the photos and supplies that I used to create my Week #2.

All paper is from the Recollections brand, patterned and solids. You can purchase at Micheal's.

I used Zing white embossing powder and a white gel pen.  The top is open if I want to add a journal card and or something that Alexis brings home from school.

I used a pre decorated card from a package of 26 Alphabet cards from Micheal's they are from the Recollections brand.
A button from my stash and the top foam pieces still have there backing on them so I can slide a photo inside.
Here's what they look like in the album, Minus the glare, I just layed them on top of where they would be in the album.

Trying to decide what Stampin Up Writer Marker to use.  The left is So Saffron and the right is Daffodil Delight, I went with Daffodil Delight.
I'm sorry I don't remember what stamp set this is called but it either came from Hobby Lobby or it came from Micheal's.

I used Garden Green and Ridinghood Red from Stampin Up.

I used StazOn Jet Black ink and I did all my stamping first then assembled my cards and then colored the images, that way I gave the ink amble time to dry.

Snail Masculain Card

You guessed it a card using most of my favorite things, Stampin Up and Stephaine Bernard.

Here's my  You Tube Video.

I used this Stampin Up Chevron Border Punch upside down so that I could place the starting chevron exactly where I wanted it.

I adhered Stampin Ups Vellum Card stock to the back of the chevron.
How I figure out/visualize what I want.

The stamp set is from Stephaine Bernard aka The Stamps of Life, its called snails2mail.
Stamped it first using Staz On Dove Gray and the shell again using Versa Fine Black Onyx (side not paper is textured and ink is juicy it takes a few minutes to dry.)

I used me Cutter Bee scissors to cut the pieces out.
Used my powder bag and Versa Mark ink and stamped the sentiment.
Used Recollections Silver embossing powder and heat tool to set the powder.

The ribbon is from Stampin up as well, it is called Artichoke Denim Jean, its 3/8 inch. Its still in their clearance section priced for $1.39 for 10 yards.
